I first became interested in photography when I was at a very young age as my father was known for his photographic works in the Materials Science and Engineering field.

Architecture and photography became very strong interests of mine when I moved to Shanghai, China in 2001. As the editor-in-chief of the newspaper for two years, I developed a keen sense for photojournalism and newspaper layout.

I started to actively expand my photography hobby after returning back to Washington State to finish high school. Since graduating high school in 2007, I have taken a college photography class as well as shadowed various professional photographers in their field.

Growing up around Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; and Shanghai, China, I have developed a particular interest in nature and architecture photography to go along with my photojournalism skills.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Architecture degree from Georgia Tech. I am actively involved as an officer in the Photography Club at Georgia Tech. Since arriving in Atlanta, GA for college, I have also been refining my sports and portrait photography skills.
